DESCRIPTION

Sintra’s unique characteristics have made it a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as much for its natural richness as a result of its lush vegetation, as well as the heritage built in the village and in the mountains, from which we highlight the Palace of the Village, where many are still preserved. Arab reminiscences, namely the tiles, marked by the two huge conical chimneys, symbol of the locality and the imposing Pena Palace, symbol of the romantic era in one of the mountain peaks.

A special mention deserves the Sintra sweets, namely the pillows and the famous cheeses, made since the 19th century. XII.
Towards the Atlantic coast, an opportunity to admire Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of the European continent and catch the splendor of the village of Cascais that was once an elegant summer retreat of the Portuguese monarchy during the nineteenth century.
